So My Deadlands (SWADE) TTRPG Game Just Ended...Successfully!

(NOTE: Reprinted from my posts over on Twitter. Trust, you can find me doing some longform rants over there, 150 count be damned!

So.

17 "episodes," seven or so months and our Deadworlds (SWADE) game just ended, successfully and against all odds. An FFXIV friend of me and my wife's mentioned that each game we told them about filled them with anxiety and looked like it would be a TPK each time. XD But in all honesty, most at the table were very experienced players with the intuition, ability, and roleplay skill (also GREAT dice rolls...most of the time. :V Me, at least, the other experienced player kept sucking out a ton of times lol) to navigate a game as deadly as that one, but goddamn. That ending! A genuinely satisfying one, but I also wrote up some After The End stuff for my character and babygirl's. Hell, to me the credit's just rolled to this song:

"John Silk" is dead, but Jack Magnesium (alongside his homeboy, Tobias Jackson) lives on.

The Conglomerate, the Syndicate and, above all, the Posse continues, even (perhaps) unto another generation.

Perhaps we'll play these characters.

Perhaps the After The End possibilities will become canon.

For now, though, the game is done.
